A Keratin Treatment is for someone who struggles with thick, frizzy hair and unruly curls. Keratin is a strong protein that is key for hair maintenance but is often lost over time due to factors such as age, chemical services, and products. A Keratin Treatment simply replenishes this protein, adding a protective layer to your hair, which strengthens it, relaxes it, makes it more manageable, and gives it a salon shine. A Keratin Hair Treatment is essentially a hair relaxing treatment, which smooths out frizz and makes your hair easier to straighten. After each wash, your hair will dry curly as usual, but noticeably smoother and sleeker, thus enhancing its manageability. Keratin Treatment isn’t permanent, and its longevity depends on factors such as hair texture, upkeep, and aftercare. Typically, it should last for approximately three months. For aftercare, I advise against washing, tying up, or styling your hair in any way that could cause kinks for at least 48 hours following the treatment.
